Your wedding gown is fitted by our onsite bridal specialist, right inside Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh. We also alter bridesmaid, mother-of-the-bride, prom and homecoming dresses.
Book your first fitting 1 to 2 months before the wedding, and plan on about 2 fittings, with time for more if your gown needs them. Quotes are available on request.

From a simple hem to reshaping the whole dress, our bridal specialist handles it in house. If you can picture it, ask us. We'll tell you at your first fitting what the gown can do.

From first fitting to wedding day
Most brides need about 2 fittings. We often get it right quickly, but please allow time for extra fittings if your gown needs them to be perfect.
Book 1 to 2 months ahead
Call (919) 510-8380 to set your first fitting. Earlier than 2 months is usually too soon; later than 1 month is possible with rush charges.
First fitting
Try on the gown with our bridal specialist. We pin it and talk through what you want. Ask for a quote if you'd like one.
Second fitting
Try on the altered gown and fine-tune anything that needs it. Some gowns need another fitting after this to be perfect.
Pickup
Pick up your finished gown, ready for the day.
For your fittings, bring the shoes and undergarments you'll wear on the day. They change where the hem falls and how the bodice fits.
Prom and homecoming dress alterations
Prom, homecoming, formal and special-occasion dresses get the same care as a wedding gown: hems, taking in, straps and bustles. Come in as early as you can, or ask about same-day rush if the date is close.

When should I book my wedding dress alterations?
Book your first fitting 1 to 2 months before your wedding. That gives enough time for every fitting without the dress sitting finished for too long.
Can you alter my dress if my wedding is less than a month away?
Often, yes. We make exceptions for weddings less than a month away, with rush charges. Call us at (919) 510-8380 and tell us your date.
How many fittings will I need?
Most wedding dresses take 2 fittings. We often get the fit right quickly, but some gowns need more fittings to be perfect, so please allow time for extra fittings before the wedding.
How much do wedding dress alterations cost?
It depends on the dress and the work it needs. Ask for a quote at your first fitting and we'll give you one.
Do you alter bridesmaid, prom and homecoming dresses?
Yes. Along with wedding gowns, we alter bridesmaid, mother-of-the-bride, prom, homecoming and other formal dresses. For prom and homecoming, come in as early as you can, or ask about same-day rush.
What should I bring to my fitting?
Bring the shoes and undergarments you plan to wear on the day, so the hem and fit are set exactly right.

We're on the Lower Level of Crabtree Valley Mall, near the North entrance (Glenwood Ave side). Open Monday to Friday 10 AM to 7 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 6 PM and Sunday 12 PM to 6 PM.
